Our competitive teams can expect to play in at least 2 tournaments and a winter league in addition to Fall & Spring League play, all included in the registration fee. You will not be 'nickel-and-dimed' for additional fees or out of pocket costs throughout the season. Our club is registered to have competitive teams in EDP, Mid-NJ, and MOSA as well as numerous small-sided and regulation size tournaments throughout NJ.

TEAM BUILDING INFORMATION

TRYOUT PROCESS

We have adopted a modified team-building process since 2020 for our seasonal travel years. The new team-building process will exclude dedicated tryout sessions. Players currently playing for Sayreville Soccer Club (either in the Pre-Travel, Developmental, or Competitive Teams) will receive an invitation to join the team (Acceptance Email/Offer To Join) for the new soccer year based on their development and passion during the seasonal year. Players in our program are evaluated and assessed weekly therefore eliminating the need for a specific 'try-out' day.

NEW PLAYERS (non-SSC Players) 
New players interested in being evaluated for our competitive teams or our pre-travel academy may register by clicking the following link: Sayreville TryOuts and registering for the appropriate birth year.

All players who are not selected directly to competitive teams will be guaranteed a spot in our Pre-Travel Academy.

Try-outs/Evaluations are run in a no-pressure, team environment to foster independence, comfort, and development while acclimating to the team's culture.

The Sayreville Soccer Club is an independent 501c3 organization with no political affiliation, run solely on registrations, donations, and sponsors. We do not receive any tax-payer funding to run our programs. All sessions are run by professional dedicated coaches/trainers.
